The 2026 XTERRA Trail Marathon World Championship challenges runners to complete a 50K circumnavigation of Gozo, Malta’s island of adventure. Trail Half Marathon

The 2026 XTERRA Trail Half Marathon World Championship covers 20K of Gozo’s most spectacular terrain, beginning from a remote coastal start before joining the same perimeter route as the full marathon. Runners will trace the island’s rugged edge across limestone trails and sea cliffs that rise above the Mediterranean, earning breathtaking views and, for the fastest in each age division, the title of 2026 XTERRA Trail Half Marathon World Champion.

Open Trail Half Marathon

The XTERRA Gozo Open Trail Half Marathon offers 20K of pure Mediterranean trail running, beginning from a remote coastal start before joining the same perimeter route as the full marathon. 12K Trail Run

The XTERRA Gozo 12K Trail Run invites runners of all ages to share in the adventure, with participation open to those 13 and above or younger athletes accompanied by an adult.
