Nestled in the hills of the Brecon Beacons, Ultra X Wales is an adventure that exlores the Black Mountains to the East of the National Park, starting just north of Abergavenny. The 2026 event offers 6 events: 110km single stage, 110km over two stages (Saturday & Sunday), a 60km (Saturday), 50km (Sunday), 25km (Sunday) and 12km (Sunday) event.

Under 23’s can participate for free across all race distances.

Ultra X Wales’ races are all UTMB® Index Races, in the 100k, 50k & 20k categories respectively.
