The KOM Stage of L’Étape Dubai by Tour de France takes riders to the summit of the UAE’s most iconic climb Jebel Jais, the highest point in the country, and home to one of the region’s most breathtaking mountain ascents.

Starting from the Jebel Jais Entrance, cyclists will take on a 35-kilometer climb that gradually winds its way through dramatic cliffs, sweeping turns, and expansive views of Ras Al Khaimah’s rugged mountain range. This is a true test of strength, rhythm, and climbing ability a challenge worthy of the legendary Polka Dot Jersey.

Throughout the ascent, riders experience the full spirit of the Tour de France’s mountain culture: a steady gradient, strategic pacing, and the exhilarating push toward the summit where the UAE flag proudly stands above the clouds.

The standout climbers of this stage will earn official King of the Mountain (KOM) points, which will directly count toward the overall Polka Dot Jersey Classification of L’Étape Dubai by Tour de France 2nd Edition.
